The meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m.
Council Member Jabour gave the Rules Committee report.
Council Member Shad gave the Finance Committee report.
Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy gave the Public Health & Safety report.
Council Member Clark gave the Transportation, Energy & Utilities report.
Council Vice President Fussell gave the RCD report (as Acting Chair).
Shannon Eller, Office of General Counsel, advised the meeting that a floor amendment will be offered on ORD 2007-660, Apv Fair Share Assessmt with JTA for the “Kings Ave Station” Proj
The Supervisor of Elections, Jerry Holland, asked for emergency action on Ord 2007-799, changing polling place locations in Precincts 04J, 04V, 12S; Reso 826 & 827, recognizing and honoring Ms. Anna Williams and Ms. Blanche Arrington Cobb as two of Duval’s Eldest & Most Active Voters.
Margaret Sidman, Office of General Counsel, indicated that on Ord 2007-833 (on the addendum), concerning the Arlington Rd Town Ctr Proj, emergency action language will be added.
On Reso 2007-811, concerning proposed Ad Valorem Tax Millage Rage for 2007 Tax Yr, emergency action is requested and a 2/3ds vote is required of Council Members present for passage.
