Amendment

(Floor) Incorporates provisions of the TEU Committee amendment, but provides for a Second Revised Exhibit 1 which removes 5045 Soutel Drive from the brownfields area legal description and map.

 

 

 

 

Amendment

(TEU) Provides for a Revised Exhibit 1, including a map of the brownfields area; attaches a copy of the Housing and Neighborhoods Dept. approval of the brownfields designation as Exhibit 2; replaces “Director, Planning and Development” with “Director of Planning and Development.”

Revises title and recitals; states need to determine if efforts to preserve and relocate the fire station are responsibly in the City’s best interests, and that historic designation pursuant to the Ordinance Code should not commence until after a decision on whether to relocate the station is made; removes language determining that the station is to be preserved and relocated; provides for a study to recommend fiscal, responsible and practical feasibility and relocation options; requires that the study, plan, and recommendation be completed and submitted to the Mayor and Council no later than December 31, 2008.

Per the Office of General Counsel, changes the Ordinance from a “Small Scale” Land Use Map Amendment to a “Semi-Annual” Land Use Map Amendment due to a rule-change by the Department of Community Affairs.

Per the Office of General Counsel, refers the Appeal of COA-08-146 (regarding window replacement at 2718 Dellwood Avenue) back to the Historic Preservation Commission for HPC consideration of the criteria under Section 307.106(q) regarding the cost of the window replacement, and potential options for compromise regarding window replacement, including limiting corrective action to windows visible from the right-of-way only.

Amendment

Per the Office of General Counsel, adds the following conditions to the PUD:  development shall proceed in accordance with the Development Services transportation memorandum dated August 27, 2008, or as otherwise approved by the Planning and Development Department & FDOT;  the property shall comply with all provisions of the Zoning Code, including Part 6 regarding parking, Part 12 regarding landscaping and tree protection, and limitations regarding noise in the Industrial Light Zoning District;  the uses on the property shall be screened from public rights-of-way, and the quality of materials and workmanship of all screening fences shall be subject to review and approval by the Planning and Development Department.

Per the Office of General Counsel, grants the Waiver of Road Frontage Application for property at 4343 Spring Grove Road (District 8) reducing the required road frontage from 35 feet to zero feet, subject to the following condition:  one off-site property identification sign, similar to a “directional” sign, shall be permitted along 33rd Street West for the proposed use, to assist with property identification for emergency services personnel; the sign shall not exceed five square feet in area and five feet in height, and it shall not be used for advertising the proposed business use.

Corrects fair share sector (5.2 rather than 5.1); provides for a revised fair share agreement, changing the fair share sector in the contract.

Provides for a Revised Exhibit 1 (amended BT) and a Revised Exhibit 3 (CIP project information sheet); directs the Finance Dept., Division of Accounting, to make any and all corrections necessary to identify the project (PR0469-02) as Northwest Community Center and to consolidate and/or delete duplicate names (PR0469-03) so as to be easily traceable.
