the Rules Committee’s actions from its meeting.
Council Member Corrigan reviewed
the Finance Committee’s actions from its meeting.
Council Member Yarborough reviewed
the PHS Committee’s actions from its meeting.
Council Member Bishop reviewed
the TEU Committee’s actions from its meeting.
Council Member W. Jones reviewed
the RCD Committee’s actions from its meeting.

Deputy General Counsel Steve
Rohan requested emergency action on first reading on Resolution 2008-657
appointing Council Member Clark to the Duval County Canvassing Board. Mr. Rohan also requested emergency action on
first reading on Ordinance 2008-635 amending the Ordinance Code to remove the
prohibition against campaigning in public work places in the case of City
senior centers and community centers, which will permit candidates to visit
these facilities and speak to potential voters there.
