MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING of the Council of the City of Jacksonville, held in Council Chambers, City Hall, Jacksonville, Florida, May 27,2008. The meeting was called to order at 4:34 P.M. by President Daniel Davis. The meeting adjourned at 4:50 P.M.

1. Election of President Designate:

The Chair opened up the floor for nominations. Council President Davis nominated CM Fussell and the motion was seconded by CM Graham.

No more nominations were offered. The Chair closed the floor for nominations.

Roll Call was ordered.

Council President Elect Fussell thanked President Davis for his leadership as Council President. He also thanked his family, colleagues and the Council staff for their support.

2. Election of the Vice President Designate:

The Chair opened up the floor for nominations. Council Member Holt nominated CM Clark and the motion was seconded by CM Webb.

No more nominations were offered. The Chair closed the floor for nominations.
