The Chair called the meeting
to order at 9:35 a.m. and proceeded to take everyone through the marked agenda
with proposed actions provided by the Council Auditor’s Office.
On ORD 2007-968 (Fair Share
Assessmt for “Northwood Town Center” Proj.) Phillip Peterson indicated that a
public hearing has to be scheduled and then we can proceed with the bill. The Chair said that he had spoken with JTA
and Brad Thoburn on the matter and that there wasn’t any flux right now and
that maybe we ought to consider withdrawing the bill. Brad Thoborn said that he and Dylan Reingold
will meet to address issues in the bill and that a substitute was likely to be
presented.
Phillip Peterson, Council
Auditor’s Office, reported that work had stalled on ORD 2007-1114 (ORD Closing
Portions of Rosselle St. at Request of Miller Electric for Green Space of
Company Master Plan).
Lin White, Public Works,
reported that ORD 2007-1302 (Auth Agreemt with Beach Boulevard Venture to
Construct a Regional Stormwater Pond for Benefit of Sandalwood Canal Flood
Control Proj) will be ready for action at the next Committee cycle.
Brad Thoburn indicated that
the Planning & Development Department would be making a presentation to the
Committee on the Fair Share Assessment process, specifically on how the numbers
are arrived at.
There being no further
business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 9:42 a.m.
