Amendment

(Finance) Revises title to state that $34,000 of the appropriation is for oversight management and $746,316 is for tree planting and related expenses; updates and corrects various references to reflect the current CIP; provides for award of oversight and management of the contract (rather than award of the contract) to Greenscape; requires that the tree planting and related services be competitively bid; updates appropriation fiscal year reference (2009-2010 rather than 2008-2009); provides for a Revised Exhibit 1 (scope of services); provides for a Revised Exhibit 3 (agreement) which attaches a revised contract limiting Greenscape services to management and oversight of the project.

 

 

 

 

 

(Rules) Strikes provisions invoking an Ordinance Code exception and authorizing the Mayor and Corporation Secretary to execute necessary documents to facilitate the City’s assistance or participation in the project; requests that the Procurement Division solicit bids in accordance with Ordinance Code procedures; provides for a Revised Exhibit 1 (project budget and scope of work); corrects fiscal year reference relative to the CIP (2008-2009 rather than 2002-2003); removes Exhibit 3 (agreement for services).

Per OGC, the Amendment incorporates a revised PUD Written Description, dated November 24, 2009 and several technical corrections and adds the following conditions:  Development shall proceed in accordance with the Development Services Division Memorandum dated October 20, 2009, or as otherwise approved by the Planning and Development Department; A landscaping plan for the parking area shall be submitted subject to the review and approval of the Planning and Development Department at the time of Verification of Substantial Compliance.  The landscaping shall be installed within six months of occupancy; At the time of verification of substantial compliance, a determination shall be made by the Planning and Development Department and the Jacksonville Transportation Authority whether a bus shelter is warranted.  If warranted, construction of the bus shelter shall begin within 90 days of the determination and completed within 120 days of the determination; The maximum building height shall be 45 feet; Enrollment of more than 300 students shall be reviewed and approved through the minor modification process.
