Amendment

(Finance) Revises title to state that $34,000 of the appropriation is for oversight management and $746,316 is for tree planting and related expenses; updates and corrects various references to reflect the current CIP; provides for award of oversight and management of the contract (rather than award of the contract) to Greenscape; requires that the tree planting and related services be competitively bid; updates appropriation fiscal year reference (2009-2010 rather than 2008-2009); provides for a Revised Exhibit 1 (scope of services); provides for a Revised Exhibit 3 (agreement) which attaches a revised contract limiting Greenscape services to management and oversight of the project.

 

 

 

 

 

(Rules) Strikes provisions invoking an Ordinance Code exception and authorizing the Mayor and Corporation Secretary to execute necessary documents to facilitate the City’s assistance or participation in the project; requests that the Procurement Division solicit bids in accordance with Ordinance Code procedures; provides for a Revised Exhibit 1 (project budget and scope of work); corrects fiscal year reference relative to the CIP (2008-2009 rather than 2002-2003); removes Exhibit 3 (agreement for services).

Amendment

Per OGC, the Amendment adds the following conditions to the PUD:  development shall proceed in accordance with the Development Services Division Memorandum dated November 5, 2009 and the Transportation Planning Section Memorandum dated October 21, 2009, or as otherwise approved by the Planning and Development Department; the total building area shall not exceed 2,700 square feet; all sag lenses, drop lenses and convex lenses shall be prohibited.  Illumination levels at all property lines shall not exceed one-half (.5) foot candles (“f.c.”) when the building or parking areas are located adjacent to residential areas, and shall not exceed one (1.0) f.c. when abutting other non-residential properties. All lighting lamp sources within parking and pedestrian areas shall be metal halide or compact fluorescent.  The maximum light pole height in all parking areas should not exceed twenty feet (20’- 0”).  An exterior lighting design plan for each project, including a photometrics plan, pole and fixtures schedules shall be submitted at the time of verification of substantial compliance for review and approval by the Planning and Development Department; the monument sign shall be a maximum of twenty-four (24) square feet in area; access from Sweetwater Lane shall be prohibited for any non-residential use.

Provides for a Revised Exhibit 1 (2010 project schedule), a Revised Exhibit 2 (2011-2018 project schedule), and a Revised Exhibit 3 (implementation plan); deletes a reference to implementation plan date.

Per OGC, the Amendment incorporates a revised PUD Written Description dated September 24, 2009 and adds the following conditions to the PUD: multi-family dwellings shall be prohibited; a twenty foot landscape buffer shall be provided along the southern property line meeting the buffer material requirements of Section 656.1216 of the Zoning Code; one monument sign not to exceed 30 feet in height and 150 square feet in size shall be permitted.

(Finance) Revises title to remove an unnecessary reference to the appropriation of $25,000; removes “Contingency” from the name of the account to which funds are being appropriated and inserts the account number.

Revises title to reflect previous approval of agreement by Ordinance 2008-130-E; includes provisions amending the CIP for the Oakwood Villas project and attaching the relative project information sheet; states that Ordinance 2008-130-E included funds for a microbial study, which the Dept. of Environmental Protection completed and the state funds were redirected to the Dept. of Environmental Protection.
