At the conclusion of the agenda, Chief Financial Officer Mickey Miller presented the mandatory quarterly operating portfolio investment update.  In response to a question he stated that the fund is in a fairly aggressive posture compared to other local governments and will probably continue to be so positioned.  He noted that the City is in the process of replacing one of its funds managers through a competitive process.

 

Chairman Davis stated that he intends to have a public comment period at one of the upcoming Finance Committee budget hearings.  A date will be determined and publicized later.
