Attendance: Committee Chair John Crescimbeni; Committee
Member Don Redman; Dylan Reingold, Office of General Counsel; John Crofts, Sean
Kelly, and Steve Smith, Department of Planning and Development; Merriane
Lahmeur, Sharonda Davis, and Rick Campbell, Office of City Council
The Committee Chair, John
Crescimbeni, called the meeting to order at 3:30 p.m. He asked Planning and Development Department
staff if mailed notices reference the appropriate LUZ agenda meeting, and was advised
that they do not, but the information is available on the Council’s website. He then inquired as to whether this
information could be included in the notices, with Planning and Development Department
staff agreeing to look into that. After
this, he asked Mr. John Crofts to take everyone through the marked agenda
containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
10-261 and 10-262 These are
companion items; procedure was discussed, and it was suggested that 10-261 be deferred and considered for
withdrawal at the next meeting, depending upon
the action taken on 10-262; it was decided to consider 10-262 first and,
depending upon the action, recommend
withdrawal of 10-261 at tonight’s meeting; the items are to be monitored at the City Council meeting
10-264 Proposed amendment
includes conditions; there is a revised site plan
10-374 Applicant not present
at Planning Commission
10-447 Anticipate deferral
after public hearing continued
10-495 Workshop being held at
4:30 p.m. today; Mr. Reingold suggests an amendment to revise the exhibit, capturing the various Planning
and Development Department recommendations
10-523 May be opposition
and/or questions, based on prior contact; Mr. Reingold will have relative information to address
concerns
10-525 Proposed amendment
changes the development agreement and revises acreage
10-613 It was noted that a
public hearing has been set for August 17, 2010
As there was no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:41 p.m.
