	BILL SUMMARY SUBSTITUTE/APPROVE 7-0 As substituted, the bill: 1. Cleans up Article 17 regarding applicability of civil service exemption status. 2. Creates Section 116.901 defining appointed officials and employees within the Code. 3. Caps AMIO positions at 20, provided that no employee currently filling an AMIO position shall be forced to be removed from the position. 4. HR shall maintain qualifications, a job description, and pay range for each AMIO position. 5. Each August 1^st, the Chief of HR shall submit a report of filled AMIO positions and a report of the supervisor to employee ratio. 6. Changes requirement that HR engage a consultant to conduct a “Pay and Classification” study every fourth year to HR conducting the study for appointed officials and employees.
