The meeting was
called to order at 9:30 a.m.
Sean Costigan reviewed
the marked agenda provided by the Council Auditor’s Office which included 1
item marked for withdrawal, 6 items marked for deferral, 19 items ready for
action (1 for action as an emergency), and 18 items to be read a second time
and re-referred.
2010-814
(support for legislative bill J-4 regarding transparency in government) – Peggy
Sidman stated that she believed the bill’s sponsor would be requesting deferral
of the bill.
2011-86
(economic development incentive agreement with Pittsburgh Logistics Systems,
Inc.) – Joe Whitaker of the JEDC stated that the bill was ready for action on
one committee cycle pursuant to a Council Rule regarding two readings for QTI
endorsements.
2011-106
(authorizing refinancing of Jacksonville Housing Finance Authority bond issue)
– will be requested for emergency action.
2011-107
(authorizing restructuring of housing assistance loan to Madison Woods Ltd.
apartment complex) – may be moved for withdrawal today pending Housing Finance
Authority review of the refinancing request at its February 16 meeting.
There being no
further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 9:35 a.m.
