Meeting Convened: 3:30 p.m.
Vice Chairman Redman reviewed
the items on the Auditor’s marked agenda, which showed 12 items ready for
action, 6 items to be deferred and 8 items to be recommended for second reading
and re-referral.
2011-272 (appropriation of
$2,347 for capital improvements to Beachwood Community Center) – the proposed
amendment will recognize existing funding appropriated to this project and move
all the funds into one account for expenditure.
2011-306 (authorizing
Amendment #11 to the Jacksonville Jaguars stadium lease) – the proposed
amendment will make the ticket relinquishment good for 1 year and only for
Jaguars games.
2011-331 (interlocal
agreement with
2011-364 (authorizing open
air market operator agreement for Riverside Arts Market) – Lisa Rinaman stated
that the agenda is incorrectly marked; the City does have written approval from
the FDOT to utilize this property for the market. The document is being retrieved from storage
for the Auditor’s review.
Ms. Billy noted that several
of the bills on the RCD agenda were deferred at this morning’s Rules Committee
meeting when that meeting adjourned due to lack of a quorum.
