Amendment

Per OGC, the Amendment grants the appeal with the following condition: (a) Each replaced window shall 1) be properly recessed within the opening, 2) fill the entire space filled both vertically and horizontally, and 3) replicate the original window in design, including the use of a raised exterior muntin.

Substitute

Limits the application of the ordinance to the protected class of “sexual orientation” (deletes references to “gender identity or expression”); provides for an expanded exemption for religious institutions; limits remedies to conciliation; and removes the deletion of a reference to “Constitutional” rights.

R/F/RCD: removes form agreements; clarifies who the Office of Economic Development supports; refines the definition of “Business Investment and Development Plan; reorganizes CRA powers into 1) retained powers of City Council, 2) direct powers of DIA immediately upon bill passage, and 3) powers of the DIA contingent upon passage by Council of CRA redevelopment plans; clarifies special revenue fund provisions with regard to CRA trust funds; requires use of Chapter 122 (Real Estate) provisions for DIA purchase and sale of real property.

 

 

Amendment

Amends R/F/RCD substitute to add “and downtown CRA funds” to the ; requires specific and measurable goals, objectives and performance; adds a specific section reference in Chapter 50; increases the size of a DIA board quorum from 5 to 6 members; requires posting of DIA meeting notices on the City’s on-line web calendar; changes “account” to “subfund” in several locations; clarifies that the 10% limitation on DIA administrative and overhead expenses applies to expenses paid from the CRA subfunds; strikes the word “Commission” in reference to the DIA.

Per OGC, the Amendment adds the following condition to the PUD: (1) The Subject Property shall be developed in accordance with the Development Services Division Memorandum, dated July 11, 2012, or as otherwise approved by the Planning and Development Department.
