Attendance: Committee
Chair Reggie Brown; Committee Members Jim Love, Lori Boyer, Doyle Carter, and
Don Redman; Dylan Reingold, Office of General Counsel; Sean Kelly, Cal Burney,
Gary Kresel, Steve Smith, and Folks Huxford, Department of Planning and
Development; Merriane Lahmeur and Rick Campbell, Office of City Council
The Committee Chair, Reggie
Brown, called the meeting to order at 3:35 p.m. and asked Mr. Reingold to take
everyone through the marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
11-518 The Chair advised that
the item will be deferred to 01-18-12 to allow for a meeting with the applicant
11-577 Mr. Reingold advised
that C/M Schellenberg has requested deferral
11-586 In response to a
question, C/M Boyer indicated that the applicant is aware of the potential withdrawal
11-628 Working with Mr.
Kresel to resolve issues
11-646 Applicant requesting
withdrawal of appeal, which would effectively deny the appeal with no option to reapply; Mr. Reingold
recommended considering the withdrawal first and procedure was discussed
11-675 C/M Carter is prepared
to move forward
11-701 Mr. Reingold indicated
that the District C/M is ready to move forward
11-734 through 11-738
Development agreements which will each have an additional public hearing at the City Council meeting
In response to a question,
Ms. Lahmeur was advised that the development agreements would be considered
first, and the appeal last. C/M Boyer
inquired as to the meeting date when there had been discussion concerning
development agreements relative to new mobility provisions. She was informed that it was likely discussed
at the last meeting.
As there was no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:49 p.m.
