Sulzbacher CEO Funkenhouser fielded a number of  questions on this measure, as well, particularly on the nature and statistics of Jacksonville’s homeless population.  She indicated that upwards of 70% of Jacksonville’s homeless were Jacksonville residents.  Women & children constitute a growing majority of clients at the center and in homeless statistics as a whole.
