Chairwoman Boyer called the
meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. and announced that there would not be an LUZ
workshop meeting at 4:30 today, nor would there likely be one on November 19th.
Jason Gabriel the marked
agenda which contained 10 items marked for deferral, 10 items ready for action,
12 public hearings to be opened and continued, and 4 items for second reading
and re-referral.
2012-657 (appeal of
Jacksonville Historic Preservation Commission denial of request to demolish 101
E. Bay Street): Ms. Boyer announced that the appeal will be heard on November
19th.
2013-415 (amendment to Zoning
Code regarding keeping of chickens): the bill will be moved for action tonight.
2013-469 (rezoning on Collins
Road): as of yesterday the Planning Department was ready to recommend approval
provided that a condition is attached regarding resolution of issues relating
to a joint fair share agreement. Mr.
Gabriel stated that a clear condition is needed in the PUD to capture a clear
agreement between the parties.
2013-493 (amendment to the
off-site sign regulations): the public hearing will be opened and continued to
December 3rd to allow for adoption and re-advertisement of a
substitute for the bill.
2013-627/628 (rezoning and
land use change on Division Street): the applicant has requested deferral
tonight.
There being no further
business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:09 p.m.
