LUZ COMMITTEE AGENDA MEETING MINUTES

 

April 16, 2012

Chairwoman Boyer called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. and Dylan Reingold reviewed the marked agenda which contained 4 items marked for deferral, 11 items ready for action, 5 public hearings to be opened and continued, and 6 items for second reading and re-referral.

 

2012-62 and -63 (land use amendment and rezoning on Old Middleburg Road North): Dylan Reingold reported that a settlement agreement has been reached between the parties and is awaiting approval by the Special Magistrate.  The bill will be deferred.

 

2012-657 and -720 (Bostwick Building - appeal of denial of demolition CON and designation of the building as a historic landmark): Mr. Reingold understands that a sales contract may be imminent and the owner requests another deferral.  Chairwoman Boyer asked Mr. Reingold to attempt to verify before the meeting that a contract is pending; if so, then she will attempt to notify the interested parties that a vote will not take place this evening.

 

2012-2 (modification of administrative deviation on Clydo Road): there is still a cross-easement question to be resolved; the Planning Department will advise on whether it should be handled as a condition to the deviation or if it is incorporated into the site plan.

 

2013-100 (rezoning on Lane Avenue): the applicant and Planning Department are working on a revision to clarify the presence of both residential and commercial uses in the current building.

 

2013-102 (sign waiver on Soutel Drive): Folks Huxford reported that his Department Director had mentioned that the district council member may be asking for deferral of this item.

 

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 1:12 p.m.
