Assistant Council Auditor Janice Billy explained the reductions in the BJP Unified Courthouse Project contingency account that have taken place since the last meeting of the Courthouse Oversight Committee.  In response to a question from Council Member Crescimbeni, Public Works Director Jim Robinson described other potential uses of the contingency fund, including the retrofit of doors in the new courthouse with automated openers for ADA compliance.  City officials will be meeting with the State Attorney’s Office next week to hopefully finalize the parameters of the old federal courthouse renovation project.
