Council Member Lee discussed the work of the Ad Hoc Committee on Metropolitan and Urban Parks and the need to procure additional sound meters to further the Environmental Quality Division’s monitoring of sound from events at Metro Park.  Steve Pace of EQD described the noise surveys at the recent Boat Show, Welcome to Rockville concert and Funkfest and the importance of the meters, and the use of the meters city-wide after the current concert research is done.
