Attendance: Council Members Greg Anderson (Chair), Lori Boyer, Ray Holt, Jim Love; Paige Johnston, Dylan Reingold, Jason Gabriel, Office of General Counsel; Heather Reber, Council Auditor’s Office; Michelle Barth, Mayor’s Office; Lin White, John Jones Public Works Department; Brad Thoburn, JTA; Jim Catlett, IGS; Usha Mohan, Chief, Information Technologies; Mark Shelton, Clay Whitfield, Planning & Development Department; Executive Council Assistants Leeann Summerford (Anderson), Connie Holt (Holt); Philip Zamarron, Legislative Aide; John J. Jackson, Council Research Division.
The Chair called the Agenda Meeting to order at 1:30 P.M. and proceeded to review the Council Auditor’s Office’s marked agenda. Seven (7) items were ready for action; two (2) items were being deferred; and seven (7) items were being seconded and re-referred.
The Chair indicated that in the course of the deliberation on Item #9, ORD 2013-195, Auth Agreemt with JTA re North Corridor Bus Rapid Transit Public Improvemts…, Brad Thoburn would be making a presentation on the long range planning of our transportation system.
In announcing that Items #1 & 2 (ORD 2013-118, Auth Lease Agreemt with Terranova Inc for Space…at 5200-2 Norwood Ave….ORD 2013-179, Auth Lease Agreemt with GIV Imeson, LLC for use by Supv or Elections…., work is being done by Council Member John Crescimbeni to bring parties together for a joint meeting; a specific date has yet to be determined.
On Item #4, ORD 2013-190, Auth the Delegation Agreemt for Open Burning of Land Clearing Operations with Fla Dept of Agriculture & Consumer Svcs…., the Chair expressed the hope that the Administration would have someone at the Committee meeting to address and explain the measure; otherwise, the item was going to be deferred.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:36 P.M.
