Amendment

Provides that the Mayor, Corporation Secretary and DIA may execute agreement forms and documents to implement the grant program without further Council approval; corrects fiscal year to 2014-2015; attaches Revised Exhibit 2 (Grant Guidelines) to include written boundaries on map; attaches Revised Exhibit 3 (Grant Agreement) to state promissory note is forgivable over 5 years.

Per OGC, amends to grant the sign waiver with the condition that illumination is restricted to the hours of 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Amendment

Per OGC, approves the designation as a local landmark based upon the following condition:  Historic Landmark status shall be revoked in three years if mothballing requirements have not been completed.

 

Floor (Boyer): adds the new Whereas clauses from the LUZ amendment but changes the requirement to avoid revocation of the landmark status after 3 years from completion of “all requirements for mothballing” of the structure to completion of “substantial steps … toward the renovation or restoration of the structure”, as determined by the Historic Preservation Section of the Planning and Development Department; adds definition of “substantial steps”.

Amendment
