- Appropriates $206,319 from OGC retained earnings
- Increases employee cap by 4

- Changes periodic reports to an annual report.
- Changes hiring requirements to prohibit the IG from having been
employed by the City within the past 2 years (except within the IG’s
Office)
- Provides that the IG and Council Auditor shall obtain respective
approval prior to an offer of employment of their respective employees
- Adds a severability section
- Adds $500 penalty for violation of this code provision
- States that the Part does not apply to the State Attorney or
Public Defender
- Includes the original paragraph 602.302(s) which allows the
Constitutional officers and independent authorities to “opt in”, provides
for a memorandum of understanding to be negotiated with those entities
which will include funding and adds a new Whereas clause highlighting
the opt-in provision

Finance second: Rules

- Requires late payment penalties and interest to be recorded
