Meeting Convened: 4:00 p.m.

Rules Committee: Council Member Gulliford reviewed the actions of the committee from its meeting. Council Member Bishop asked that 2015-55 (amending sign regulations for the Jacksonville Veterans’ Memorial Arena) be postponed 2 weeks to the next meeting. Council Member Boyer announced that she would have a floor amendment to offer for 2015-215 (appropriating $470,109 to the Supervisor of Elections’ budget for May election costs).

TEU Committee: Council Member Brown reviewed the actions of the committee from its meeting.

Finance Committee: Council Member Clark reviewed the actions of the committee from its meeting.

RCDPHS Committee: Council Member Redman reviewed the actions of the committee from its meeting.

LUZ Committee: Council Member Holt reviewed the actions of the committee from its meeting, noting that floor amendments will be offered on 2015-27 (rezoning on Emerson Street) and 2015-183 (rezoning on Corporate Square Boulevard).

Council President Yarborough announced that 2015-301 (declaring Northeast Florida Builders Association Apprenticeship Appreciation Day) would be moved for emergency adoption.\

Council Member Boyer reported that she would be offering a floor amendment to 2015-276 (closing out district capital projects and returning remaining cash and/or budgetary authority to the source of origin) to reflect the results of her meeting with Council Member Lee on her district projects, which occurred after the bill’s introduction deadline. Council Member Gulliford requested that the bill be amended and then referred to the Finance and RCDPHS committees rather than to Finance and the TEU committee.
