Appropriating $150,000 to Friends of Hemming Park: reduces appropriation amount to $132,618.29, places $74,618.29 in Special Council Contingency – Southwest Grant account and allocates $58,000 to FOHP for August and September 2016 operations, with carryover language inserted; attaches Revised Exhibit 1 (revised account information); attaches Revised Exhibit 2 (Revised Third Amendment between COJ and FOHP); attaches new Exhibit 3 (FOHP budget for August-September 2016); reduces Third Amendment maximum indebtedness from $1,250,000 to $1,158,000.

Appropriating $50,000 from EPB Trust Fund for education & outreach activities: removes the waiver of Section 106.203 (Budget and Accounting Code) since it is not needed.

Appropriating $120,484.64 ($102,984.64 Eldersource grant and City match of $17,500) to fund Independent Living RELIEF program: corrects Explanation of Appropriation section to reference appropriation of a grant from the Department of Elder Affairs ($102,984.64) and a City match from the Reserve for Federal Programs ($17,500) for one position to oversee and carry out the mission of the RELIEF program.

Cultural Service Grant Committee Ordinance Code amendment : removes the reference to confirmation of appointment of the liaison to the committee  (liaisons are appointed administratively by letter);  attaches a new Exhibit 1 (2016-17 City Council liaison assignments letter from the Council President).

Declaring tax-reverted parcels a surplus: attaches Revised Exhibit 1 (revised real estate certificate) to include a spreadsheet of parcel assessed values.

Appropriating $125,000 in Tree Protection Trust Funds for school tree plantings: attaches Revised Exhibit 1 (revised BT); attaches a revised Exhibit 3 (agreement between COJ and Greenscape) to delete reference to Council Auditors Office providing oversight of expenditures.

Appropriating $697,400 from Special Council Contingency – Soutel/Moncrief CRA: corrects street name to Rogers Ave.

Amendment

Appropriating $15M for septic tank remediation and amending Ordinance Code: corrects Code section number references, spelling and fiscal year; clarifies the deposit of Readiness to Serve Charges to Water/Wastewater System Fund to be used to provide water/wastewater service to defined Priority Areas.
