Meeting Convened: 8:30 a.m.

Chairwoman Brosche called the meeting to order and asked the attendees to introduce themselves. She reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda which included 15 items marked for deferral, 16 items ready for action (2 as substitutes) and 3 items for second reading and re-referral.

Ms. Brosche announced that the Council Auditor would be giving a brief overview of the latest quarterly budget summary at the beginning of the meeting.

2016-385 (appropriating $150,000 to Friends of Hemming Park): Council Member Gulliford said that an amendment will be offered to deal with the treatment of the Southwest Airlines capital grant.

2016-504 (annual budget ordinance): the bill will be deferred, but a public hearing will be held on the Downtown Vision, Inc. budget.
