Finance Amendment 1:

 

1.       Auditor amendments:

a.       Exclude non-buildable lots from Affordable Housing Criteria.

b.      Add additional protections to the City if Entity does not build affordable house in required time.

c.       Attach revised Affordable Housing Inventory List to remove non-buildable lots.

2.       Provide CHDOs the first opportunity to look at the Affordable Housing Inventory List for a 30 day period and submit proposals for up to five properties for each CHDO within their designated service area. “Adds a 30-day City finalization period on CHDO requests”

3.       The property must be homesteaded or an owner-occupied property; subsequent transfers are prohibited until the structural build-out is complete.

4.       The plans and specifications for all entities must meet minimum construction requirements approved by the Housing Division.
