Meeting Convened: 9:00 a.m.

Chairman Gulliford called the meeting to order and asked the attendees to introduce themselves. He reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda which included 11 items marked for deferral, 19 items ready for action (1 for substitute and re-referral, 1 as an emergency) and 11 items for second reading and re-referral.

Mr. Gulliford announced that there would be two presentations – one by Council Auditor Kirk Sherman giving the quarterly budget update and the other by John Shellhorn of the Mosquito Control Division discussing actions relating to combatting the Zika virus.

2016-78 (approving Isle of Palms Special District annual budget): Council Member Boyer requested that a representative of the special district be present to answer questions.
