 Attendance:   Council Members Danny Becton (Chair) Jim Love, Doyle Carter, Al Ferraro, Reggie Gaffney, Joyce Morgan, Matt Schellenberg

Chairman Becton called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m. Mr. Folks Huxford reviewed the marked agenda which contained 11 items marked for deferral, 15 items ready for action (which includes an appeal hearing), 7 items marked to be opened and continued, 1 item marked for appeal hearing, and 10 items marked for second reading and re-referral.

2015-557 & 558 (property on s/s of Edgewood Avenue W): Mr. Charles Mann stated he is has been working with the district council person, land owner and Planning Department. He will file the agent authorization form and expects to have resolution next cycle.

2016-68 & 69 (10325 Lem Turner Road): In response to CM K. Brown inquiry, Mr. Huxford confirmed the deferral was due to the additional property purchase by the owner which had to be re-noticed.

2016-398 & 401 (road frontage waiver 9119 Merrill Road): Mr. Huxford stated due to information received that may impact the Planning Department’s staff report, a deferral maybe necessary. He will gather further information and provide details at the committee meeting.

Ms. Grandin explained that waivers are now being drafted in the positive which will eliminate the need to make an amendment on road frontage or sign applications.

Chairman Becton reminded the committee about the appeal hearing scheduled for 4:45 p.m.

There being no further business, agenda meeting was adjourned at 4:26 p.m.
