BT to correct a referenced ordinance number There was a fairly lengthy discussion on this item. Council Member Joyce Morgan wanted to know if all
neighborhoods in the City would have access to the funding in this
legislation. Kirk Wendland, Director, Office of Economic Development,
explained that there were two new programs for economically distressed areas
in the City. He explained that
economically distressed areas of the County, were determined by
income and unemployment data by census tracts. Mr. Wendland said that he would provide
Council Member Morgan with a map that illustrates where the
distressed areas eligible for
the funding are located. |
