The Chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and asked Assistant Council Auditor Kyle Billy to review the marked agenda that the Council Auditor’s Office had prepared.  There were six (6) items ready for action; one (1) item being deferred; nine (9) items being seconded and re-referred; requests for emergency action on two (2)  items.

 

The Chair opened the meeting with a request that everyone remember the Chair, Council Member Doyle Carter, in their prayers.  His mother had passed away.

 

Council Member Al Ferraro asked what Item #7, ORD 2016-114, Apv the Update to the Art in Public Places Prog 5-Yr Plan for Prog Dev & Implementation, entailed and if there was any money component.  Christie Holechek explained what the update entailed and explained that she would provide information on whatever costs were involved.

 

Though Council Member Danny Becton would not be able to attend the Committee meeting, ECA Dan McDonald explained that the Council Member wanted Item #6, ORD 2016-104, Auth City & Sheriff to Enter into a Traffic Control Agreemt with Flagler Station Homeowners’ Assn, Inc., taken up.

 

On Item # 18, ORD 2016-156, re Gant to Bob Hayes Invitational Track Meet Inc……Council Member Ferraro asked for an explanation.  Council Auditor Kirk Sherman explained what both the ordinance and amendment entailed.

 

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 9:06 a.m.
