F: Defer Dayatra Coles of the Housing and
Community Development Division answered questions about the number of
properties on the availability list and about the performance of the CHODOs
(Community Housing and Development Organizations) with the properties they
have received to date. Currently 5 of the 6 CHODOs are out of compliance with
the terms of their previous donation agreements; 32 of the 40 lots donated to
CHODOs have not been built on yet, although some are non-buildable lots and
cannot be used in their current configuration. Three of the CHODOs have
currently outstanding liens or owe taxes to the City on donated lots. Deputy
General Counsel Lawsikia Hodges described and the committee engaged in
extensive debate over several proposed amendments to the bill. AMEND/(4)APPROVE

Add additional protections to the City if Entity does not build
