Meeting Convened: 9:00 a.m.

 

Chairman Anderson called the meeting to order and announced that the Council Auditor will be presenting the results of Audit #778A- JAA Payroll Audit Follow-up.

 

The Chair reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda which included 6 items marked for deferral, 8 items ready for action (1 recommended to be substituted) and 12 items for second reading and re-referral. The JEA agreement (2018-747) will be taken up first and JEA CEO Aaron Zahn will be present for the discussion. 2019-23 (Kids Hope Alliance appropriation) will be deferred to the next meeting. Police and Fire Pension Fund Executive Director Tim Johnson will be providing a presentation on the plan’s annual actuarial report at the next meeting.
