Meeting Convened: 8:33

Council Member Wilson called the meeting to order and the attendees introduced themselves for the record. He reviewed the Council Auditor’s marked agenda that included two (2) items being deferred, eleven (11) items ready for action (two requested as emergencies; and three (3) items being seconded and re-referred.

2017-223 (Granting a Conservation Easement to the City of Atlantic Beach) - Council Member Gulliford reported that he will be offering an amendment to the ordinance dealing with the easement length and a renewal process.

2017-317 (Amending Ordinance Code Chapter 118 – Public Service Grants) – Council Member Morgan reported that she will be offering an amendment in addition to the Auditor’s marked amendment on the agenda. Deputy General Counsel Peggy Sidman reported that Council Member Crescimbeni had met recently with the Public Service Grant Committee and she has prepared an additional amendment on his behalf.

2017-321 (Appropriating $135,000 from General Fund Playgrounds & Centers account to fund Operation of Brentwood Golf Course) – Council Member Morgan said that she had been approached by a citizen who wished to address the committee on this bill during the meeting. Chairman Wilson will extend the privilege of the floor during the debate for public comment.

The committee’s special meeting topic will be a presentation on the Parent Help Center by Glenn Ellison.

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 8:41 A.M.
