Location: Council Chamber, 1^st floor, City Hall – St. James Building; 117 West Duval Street

In attendance: Council Member Scott Wilson (Chair), Garrett Dennis, Bill Gulliford, Joyce Morgan.

Also: Kyle Billy – Council Auditor’s Office; Peggy Sidman, Paige Johnston – Office of General Counsel; Jeff Clements and John J. Jackson – Council Research Division; Juliette Williams, Samantha Lane – Legislative Services Division; Jordan Elsbury, Mayor’s Office.

Meeting Convened: 8:32 a.m.

Chairman Wilson called the meeting to order and asked the attendees to introduce themselves. He reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda. There were three (3) items ready for action; two (2) items being deferred; seven (7) items being seconded and re-referred; one (1) item being substituted and re-referred; and one (1) item with an emergency request.

Assistant Council Auditor Kyle Billy announced that since the Council Auditor’s Office’s marked agendas were previously distributed, there had been a change in the amendment for Item #5, ORD 2016-795, Approp $1,356,608.21 from CIP Projs that are Certified Complete by Dir of PW, Closed & had Residual Balances returned to Sources of Origin…. A third component of the amendment was added that revised the title of the ordinance and the explanation of the appropriation section of the ordinance.

On Item #6, ORD 2016-797, Adopting an Inventory List Identifying City/County-Owned Propty deemed Appropriate for use as Potential Affordable Housing…., Council Member Garrett Dennis indicated that he had not yet received a list of the parcels that he had requested. Diana Seydlorsky, Chief, Housing and Community Development Division, assured Mr. Dennis that she would provide him with the list of parcels.

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 8:35 a.m.
