Location: Council Chamber, 1^st floor, City Hall – St. James Building; 117 West Duval Street

In attendance: Council Member Scott Wilson (Chair), Garrett Dennis, Bill Gulliford, Joyce Morgan.

Also: Kyle Billy – Council Auditor’s Office; Peggy Sidman, Paige Johnston – Office of General Counsel; Jeff Clements and John J. Jackson – Council Research Division; Juliette Williams, Samantha Lane – Legislative Services Division; Jordan Elsbury, Mayor’s Office.

Meeting Convened: 8:33 a.m.

Chairman Wilson called the meeting to order and asked the attendees to introduce themselves. He reviewed the Auditor’s marked agenda. There were five (5) items ready for action; four (4) items being deferred; two (2) items being seconded and re-referred and one (1) item being withdrawn.

The Chair announced that the topic for the Special Meeting would be a presentation by Kristen Reed, Planning & Development Department, on the process for the demolition of older buildings.

Deputy General Counsel Peggy Sidman reminded the Council Members that despite the shortened week, Wednesday afternoon was still the deadline for filing new legislation.

There being no further business, the agenda meeting was adjourned at 8:35 a.m.
