SUMMARY 6-0 Amend/Approve CM Crescimbeni detailed the funding Pampers will focus on
baby changing stations in buildings in Jacksonville. The changing table costs
$250 dollars and would just need to be installed onto the wall. This bill
will make it more convenient for parents to be able to change diapers by
making sure that all new construction would have to have these tables. CM Freeman
stated his support for the bill and his familiarity with the issues of a lack
of changing stations. Jordan Elsbury, Mayor’s Office, stated that the
administration is doing inventory to make sure existing buildings will be
able to have these tables. CM Newby asked to be added as a co-sponsor. |
