Topic: PHS Committee agenda meeting

Location: City Council Chamber, 1^st floor, City Hall – St. James Building, 117 West Duval Street

Attendance:   Council Members: Sam Newby (Chair), Anna Lopez Brosche, Aaron Bowman, and Bill Gulliford.

Also: Paige Johnston – Office of General Counsel; Kyle Billy – Council Auditor’s Office; Jordan Elsbury– Mayor’s Office; Colleen Hampsey– Council Research Division; Philip Zamarron– Legislative Services Division.

Meeting Convened: 8:31 a.m.

Chairman Newby called the meeting to order and asked the attendees to introduce themselves. The Chair reviewed the marked agenda that the Council Auditor’s Office had prepared. There were five (5) items ready for action (1 as an emergency), four (4) items marked for deferral and six (6) items recommended for second reading and re-referral.

Mr. Newby announced that the topic for the Special Meeting would be mental health issues.
