Summary of Proposed Management Agreement

 

-          Construction of the new Moncrief Community Center has been funded with CDBG dollars and is expected to be completed within 12 months

-          100 Black Men of Jacksonville and I’m a Star Foundation (“Managers”) will provide programming and facility management services for the facility

-          Programming will be offered six days each week for approximately five hours each day and will target students aged 12-18 within a three mile radius of the facility

-          Programming will be offered free of charge to the public

-          Managers will be responsible for providing programming, cleaning and general upkeep of the facility, security, and day to day operational costs

-          City will be responsible for maintenance, replacement, and repair of interior and exterior of facility, utilities, and landscaping
