Tenant Affirmation and Acknowledgment and a Landlord Affirmation and
Acknowledgment for leased property which will assist the tenant to make
an informed decision before entering into a lease which may require
costly improvements to get the type of use the tenant ultimately wants. -

and Acknowledgement forms |
BILL
SUMMARY NCSPHS:
Sub/Re-refer Approve 6-1 to
substitute and re-refer (CM Schellenberg in opposition) CM Morgan was in attendance to discuss this bill
which applies to Certificate of Use
applications and fees. The bill sponsor believes the City should better
inform business owners and property owners of any required improvements,
updates or changes to a commercial property when it is converted from one use
to another in advance of persons having to expend additional costs to comply
with state and local Building and Fire Code requirements. With the
substitute, Certificate of Use applications will include a tenant affirmation
and acknowledgement and a landlord affirmation and acknowledgement. |
