The Chair called the agenda meeting to order at 1:30 P.M. and reviewed the marked agenda that had been prepared by the Council Auditorís Office.There were seven (7) items ready for action; five (5) items being deferred; and eight (8) items being seconded and re-referred.

2019-143 RESO Supporting the Adoption of the City of Jacksonville Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan-MOVE.

 

Council Member Danny Becton announced that he will be inclined to request a deferral when the item comes up at the Committee meeting.He had not had an opportunity to read the 100+ page master plan but had some concerns that he wished to raise.The Chair indicated that the measureís sponsor, Council Member Lori Boyer will be at the Committee meeting to field questions.

 

2019-144RESO Adopting the Emerald Trail Master Plan & Implementation Strategy which includes branding & design standards; Encouraging the Administration to follow the Emerald Trail Master Plan in the implementation of the City'sEmerald Trail Planning & Revitalization & Establish Coordinated efforts for the consideration of the Trail in future development-MOVE.

 

2019-169ORD Concerning Surplus Personal Propty of the City; Declaring that Certain 2000 Chevrolet G3500 Van Valued at $5,600 to be Surplus to the needs of the City; Auth the Approp Officials of the City to transfer title of Said Propty to NE FL Healthy Start Coalition, Inc. for Use as a Transport Vehicle for Expectant Mothers, at no Cost, in Accordance with Sec 122.812 (C), Ord Code; Desig the Fleet Mgmt Div to Monitor Actual Use of Said Propty-2ND & REREFER.
