Summary
NCSPHS: App APPROVE 6-1
(Cresecimbeni) Council Member Lori
Boyer, the resolutions’s sponsor, explained what the measure entailed and provided
background information. She explained
that the plan itself was completed in 2017.
She noted that at the outset, Council Members Katrina Brown and Reggie
Brown were every involved with the study because components of the study
impacted their respective Council Districts. Council Member
Becton wanted to know if the master plan reflected any new policy
recommendations. He also wanted to
know why the Master Plan had focused on areas on the northside and downtown
and did not include any southside areas. Mr. Becton thanked
Mrs. Boyer for her explanation of the plan and indicated that his previous
reservations had been eliminated. Council Member John
Crscimbeni rasied concerns about aspects of the plan that Council Member Boyer referred to the Planning
Department. |
