Council Member Lori Boyer, the resolutions’s sponsor, explained what the measure entailed and provided background information.  She explained that the plan itself was completed in 2017.  She noted that at the outset, Council Members Katrina Brown and Reggie Brown were every involved with the study because components of the study impacted their respective Council Districts.

 

Council Member Becton wanted to know if the master plan reflected any new policy recommendations.

He also wanted to know why the Master Plan had focused on areas on the northside and downtown and did not include any southside areas.

 

Mr. Becton thanked Mrs. Boyer for her explanation of the plan and indicated that his previous reservations had been eliminated.

 

Council Member John Crscimbeni rasied concerns about aspects of the plan that Council  Member Boyer referred to the Planning Department.
