The meeting was called to
order at 1:33 p.m.
The Chairman and Deputy
Council Auditor Janice Billy reviewed the agenda and proposed amendments and
actions. Ms. Billy indicated that Mickey
Miller, Director of Administration and Finance, would make a brief presentation
and seek the committee’s approval of the City’s selection of 3 investment firms
to manage portions of the City’s “special risk” investment portfolio.
Council Member Bishop indicated
that he expected citizens from his district to be present and request to
address the committee on pending ordinance 2007-872 regarding the
