MEETING MINUTES
November 20, 2007

Attendance: Committee Member Jack Webb; Council Members Ray
Holt and Bill Bishop (both appointed as committee members for today’s LUZ
meeting); Shannon Eller and Jason Teal, Office of General Counsel; John Crofts,
Folks Huxford, and Margo Moehring, Department of Planning and Development;
Jessica Stephens, Merriane Lahmeur, and Rick Campbell, Office of City Council
C/M Webb, appointed by the
Council President to act as Vice Chair for the LUZ meeting, called the meeting
to order at 3:05 p.m. He asked Mr. John
Crofts to take everyone through the marked agenda containing the suggested
committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
2007-1046 It was recommended
that the public hearing be opened and closed, and that a report be made to substitute and rerefer, with
new public hearings to be set; it was stated that the substitute resulted from meetings with affected parties and
contains a grandfather provision
2007-1061 Public hearing to
be opened and continued, as eventual substitution for PUD zoning anticipated
2007-1075 To be amended
2007-1087 Public hearing to
be continued; it was noted that the item is in C/M Redman’s district
Margo Moehring offered to
provide an overview at the meeting concerning certain text revisions to the
Comprehensive Plan.
It was requested that the
following items be considered at the beginning of the meeting: 2007-1046, 2007-1047, 2007-1060, 2007-1061,
2007-1183, and 2007-1184.
As there was no further
business, the meeting adjourned at 3:18 p.m.
