Attendance: Committee Chair Michael Corrigan (arrived
3:08); Committee Member Clay Yarborough; Cherry Shaw, Office of General
Counsel; John Crofts, Folks Huxford, Ellen Fales, and Margo Moehring,
Department of Planning and Development; Jessica Stephens, Merriane Lahmeur, and
Rick Campbell, Office of City Council
The Committee Vice Chair, Clay
Yarborough, chaired the meeting, calling it to order at 3:05 p.m. He asked Mr. John Crofts to take everyone
through the marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.
Changes, additions, and
comments concerning the agenda as marked included:
2007-190 Withdrawal may be
requested at the next meeting
2007-443 In response to a comment concerning the
potential for withdrawal, the applicant indicated
that forward progress is being made
2007-581 Being deferred indefinitely
2007-835 Hearing dates are needed
2007-851 Planning and Development Dept. recommendation
to deny was noted
2007-852 Advertising fees had not been paid as of
earlier that day; it was stated that C/M M.
Jones was requesting deferral, and that the public hearing should be opened and
continued
2007-920 Procedure was discussed; Ms. Moehring
indicated that changes include wetlands buffering,
and that C/M Bishop may have an exhibit change
2007-928 Anticipated town meeting on October 11, 2007,
was noted
2007-955 C/M Johnson is expected to be present at the
committee meeting
2007-956 It was noted that there was no scheduled
public hearing for tonight’s meeting
2007-984 An amendment will be proposed
As there was no further
business, the meeting adjourned at 3:17 p.m.
