Attendance:  Chairman Hyde, committee member Redman

Phillip Peterson – Auditor’s Office; Phillip Zamarron – Legislative Services Division; Steve Rohan – Office of General Counsel; Alison Miller and Celeste Hicks - ECAs

The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m. by Chairman Hyde.

Phillip Peterson of the Council Auditor’s Office reviewed the marked agenda, which included 1 item to be deferred, 5 items ready for action, and 9 items recommended for second reading and re-referral.

Chairman Hyde announced that he has prepared a bill to be introduced at the next Council meeting as a PHS Committee bill approving a new fee structure for the Health Department as discussed at an earlier meeting.  He also announced that discussion of fleet maintenance outsourcing would be deferred to the next committee meeting.  Finally, he noted that Council Director Cheryl Brown would be updating the committee on the plans for the two community forums on crime and safety issues.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:33 p.m.
