LAND USE AND ZONING COMMITTEE AGENDA MEETING MINUTES

June 17, 2008

Attendance:  Committee Chair Michael Corrigan; Council Member Don Redman; Dylan Reingold, Office of General Counsel; Brad Thoburn, John Crofts, and Sean Kelly, Department of Planning and Development; Merriane Lahmeur, Marilyn Allen, and Rick Campbell, Office of City Council

The Committee Chair, Michael Corrigan, called the meeting to order at 3:01 p.m.  He asked Mr. John Crofts to take everyone through the marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.

Changes, additions, and comments concerning the agenda as marked included:

07-1125 Anticipate public hearing will be continued and the item deferred

08-313 C/M Redman will be present tonight, and the Chair indicated that this item will be considered early in the meeting

08-314 In response to a question from the Chair, the Planning and Development Dept. confirmed   its recommendation is to deny the application

08-366 Anticipate public hearing will be continued and the item deferred

08-400 Amendment provisions are technical in nature

08-402 Anticipate public hearing will be continued and the item deferred

08-404 Legal inquired if there would be an amendment, and Mr. Crofts responded there was none

08-473 The Chair advised there may be an amendment to exempt local historic districts

As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:08 p.m.
