This summary is a preliminary report of action taken by the LUZ Committee.  The language of all amendments and substitutes is not final until confirmed by the official LUZ Transcript and filed with the Office of Legislative Services prior to the City Council meeting.

 

Attendance:  Committee Chair Michael Corrigan; Committee Members Clay Yarborough, Richard Clark (arrived 5:27 p.m.), Mia Jones, Denise Lee (excused), Art Shad, and Jack Webb; Tracey Arpen, Office of General Counsel; John Crofts and Sean Kelly, Department of Planning and Development; Jessica Stephens, Merriane Lahmeur, Steve Cassada, and Rick Campbell, Office of City Council

 

The Committee Chair, Michael Corrigan, called the special meeting to order at 4:07 p.m. for the purpose of a formal quasi-judicial hearing on Resolution 2007-835.  Mr. Arpen provided background information, and procedure was explained.  Mr. Ted Wendler withdrew his request for determination of affected party status.

The Chair announced that the regular Land Use and Zoning Committee meeting would begin after a brief recess of about ten minutes.  There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:24 p.m.
