LAND USE AND ZONING COMMITTEE AGENDA MEETING MINUTES

 

January 3, 2008

3:00 p.m.

 

City Council Conference Room A

Attendance:  Committee Chair Michael Corrigan; Committee Members Clay Yarborough and Mia Jones; Council Members Ray Holt and Bill Bishop; Shannon Eller and Dylan Reingold, Office of General Counsel; John Crofts, Sean Kelly, and Folks Huxford, Margo Moehring, and Brad Thoburn, Department of Planning and Development; Jessica Stephens, Merriane Lahmeur, and Rick Campbell, Office of City Council

 

The Committee Chair, Michael Corrigan, called the meeting to order at 3:10 p.m.  He asked Mr. John Crofts to take everyone through the marked agenda containing the suggested committee actions.

 

Changes, additions, and comments concerning the agenda as marked included:

2005-1399 Public hearing to be continued to 01-15-08

2006-520 In response to a question by C/M Holt concerning status, Mr. Crofts offered to provide a copy of a memorandum and advised that there has been some progress

2007-578 C/M Yarborough inquired concerning a Waterways Commission report, and C/M           Bishop indicated that it has been deferred awaiting a Planning Dept. recommendation

2007-919 Will be considered tonight

2007-1078 C/M Jones asked about the status, and Mr. Reingold offered to provide information

2007-1233 C/M Jones mentioned her desire to speak with the applicant, and Mr. Crofts reminded her that if the bill is not considered tonight, it will be six months before the next cycle

2007-1240 C/M Yarborough noted that the agenda contained a scrivener’s error concerning the    report of the Planning Dept. (shown as Planning Commission); the Chair outlined the procedure that would be used at tonight’s proceedings

2007-1305 C/M Yarborough advised that the agenda contained an error concerning the Council     district

2007-1344 Mrs. Eller stated that the amendment involves a technical correction

2007-1345 Mrs. Eller stated that the amendment involves a technical correction

 

As there was no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:27 p.m.
