The meeting was called to
order at 3:31 p.m. by Chairman Yarborough.
Chairman Yarborough reviewed
the Auditor’s marked agenda which included 2 items to be deferred, 2 items
ready for action (1 as an emergency) and 3 items to be read a second time and
re-referred. He noted that 2008-908
(regulation of temporary recreational vehicle parks) was amended earlier in the
day at the Rules Committee to revise the definition of temporary RV parks on
small lots in the Sports District area.
Phillip Peterson stated that the Rules Committee’s understanding of the
definition of “Sports District area” was intended to reflect the map of that
area as adopted by the Council in the downtown master plan “Celebrating the
River: A Plan for Downtown Jacksonville”.
There being no further
business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:34 p.m.
