Janice Billy – Auditor’s Office; Merriane Lahmeur – Legislative Services Division; Steve Rohan – Office of General Counsel; Lisa Rinaman and Sherry Hall – Mayor’s Office; Cheryl Runyon – Sheriff’s Office; Fred Forbes – Solid Waste Division; Alison Miller– ECA; Jeff Clements – Council Research Division; Brian Sesnick and Mark Marques – Joytel Communications; Shirley Dasher and Jerry Moran - citizens

The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m. by Chairman Hyde.

Mr. Hyde reviewed the marked agenda, which included 5 items marked for deferral, 7 items ready for action and 8 items recommended for second reading and re-referral. He noted that item 2008-27 (“doggie dining”) had failed in Rules and been recommended for approval in Finance earlier today. At the conclusion of the meeting, representatives from Joytel Communications wish to make a presentation to the committee.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:34 p.m.
